A unique-every-time QR code means that every instance of product packaging is uniquely identifiable. Polytag does this by generating a random serial number which is appended to a given GTIN. What are the benefits of this? Check out this Linkedin post which summarizes them nicely. But also feel free to think beyond this list as to what else it could do for your business.

How do we apply these unique codes to labels? There are many ways of doing this depending on label type, printing process, etc. But at a high level Polytag generates and sends the serialised codes to the party that will print them over a secure API. Polytag then stores the data for which serialised codes were printed onto which items, and when. Check out our YouTube channel for more information on the process.
